About
Keeps 50% in cash and 50% in whichever is stronger over ~6 months: a broad tech ETF (VGT) or a high‑octane basket led by 2x big‑tech (FNGG) with small slices of Bitcoin, platinum, high‑yield bonds, and T‑bills.
It runs a simple two-horse race over ~6 months and picks the stronger: (A) VGT (broad U.S. tech) or (B) a fixed mix—FNGG 60% (2x big‑tech), UVXY 5% (2x VIX crash hedge), PPLT 10% (platinum), GBTC 5% (Bitcoin), USHY 10% (junk bonds), SHV 10% (T‑bills). Then it puts only half your money in the winner and leaves half in cash to cut risk. It adjusts only when the winner changes or weights drift ~4%.
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows clear risk-adjusted outperformance vs the S&P: Sharpe ~0.82 vs ~0.15, annualized return ~13.7% vs ~1.1%, Calmar ~3.91, with a 50% cash overlay and drawdowns ~3.5% vs ~2.5% for SPY.
