Daily, it checks market “health” with moving averages (trend lines), RSI (a 0–100 hot/cold gauge of recent moves), and volatility/drawdowns. It then holds what fits: in calm uptrends it rides TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). If momentum cools or volatility jumps, it switches to hedges: PSQ/SQQQ (inverse Nasdaq), Treasuries (IEF/TLT/SHY/BIL), gold (GLD), US dollar (UUP), or staples (XLP). KMLM (managed‑futures) is a weather vane that often firms when stocks struggle; VIX signals can add UVXY/BTAL.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
