An all‑weather “Dragon” portfolio. It spreads risk across US stocks, Treasuries, gold, commodity trend funds, and a volatility hedge, then uses simple signals to lean risk‑on or risk‑off. Goal: steadier returns across booms, inflation shocks, and crashes.
NutHow it works
It splits money into five sleeves: Stocks, Bonds, Gold, Trend/Commodities, and a Long‑Volatility hedge. Each sleeve shifts using simple gauges: trend vs. average price, size of recent drops, and “hot/cold” readings. Stocks favor SPY/QQQ in uptrends; move to DIA, USD, or inverse hedges (SH/PSQ) when stress/rates rise. Bonds hold TLT/IEF in uptrends; flip to TBF, USD, or gold when rates rise. Trend/Commodities = DBMF, FAAR, COM. Long‑Vol uses UVXY/VIXM only in panics; otherwise GLD/SHY/UUP.
