About
A dynamic “Dragon” portfolio. It balances growth stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/US dollar, medium‑term trend, and an explicit crash hedge, then rotates among ETFs using trend, momentum, and “hot/cold” signals to adapt to booms, inflation spikes, and recessions.
It splits money into 5 buckets: stocks (growth), bonds, trend/momentum, “fiat alternatives” (gold/commodities/US dollar), and a crash‑protection bucket. Each bucket switches ETFs using simple signals: trend (price vs its average), momentum (leaders over months), and a “hot/cold” gauge (RSI). In booms it leans into tech; when rates rise it shifts to the dollar, defensives, and short‑bond funds; in panics it holds VIXY to cushion drops.
All-weather Dragon strategy: out-of-sample Sharpe 2.30 vs S&P 1.41, drawdown 6.45% vs 18.76%, beta 0.34, lower volatility, plus built-in crisis hedges. More resilient growth with downside protection and strong risk-adjusted returns.
