About

A rules-based, tech-heavy strategy: ride Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ, buy extreme dips in tech/semis, and otherwise rotate into volatility, short tech, or short-term bonds based on simple signals.
NutHow it works
Core holding is TQQQ (a triple‑speed version of the Nasdaq‑100). 200‑day moving average = long‑term trend line. RSI (0–100) = speed gauge: >79 overheated, <31 washed‑out. Uptrend: hold TQQQ; if overheated, switch to VXX (a “fear/volatility” fund). Downtrend: if very washed‑out, buy TECL (3x tech) or USD (2x semis) if SMH (semis) is washed‑out. Otherwise, if still weak, pick the stronger of SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) or BSV (short‑term bonds); else TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rides Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ, hedges spikes with VXX, buys tech dips, and defends with bonds/shorts. Based on out-of-sample stats, it aims for higher risk-adjusted returns and lower drawdowns vs. the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
