About

A fast‑switching, rules‑based strategy that rotates among 3x tech/semis/S&P, hedges with volatility or inverse funds when markets run hot, and uses the Treasury trend as the master risk switch (TMF/TMV). Very high risk; expects frequent swings.
NutHow it works
Big picture: it flips between offense and defense using Treasuries as a “weather vane.” - Bonds up (TLT trending): more willing to buy dips or hold TMF (3x long bonds). Bonds down: prefer defense/TMV (3x short bonds). - Short‑term signals: RSI (0–100 heat gauge; high=hot, low=cold) and 5–10 day returns. Hot stocks → VXX/short tech; washed‑out (with OK bond backdrop) → 1 of TECL/TQQQ/SOXL/UPRO. - If commodities (DBC) lead or get volatile, tilt defensive and use PDBC (no K‑1).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~76% annualized return with Calmar ~1.56 and Sharpe ~1.08. Treasuries-led risk switch guides aggressive tech/semis exposure and hedges, delivering far higher upside than SPY, with larger but managed drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
