About

Short-term momentum rotation: picks the two best of five buckets (S&P megacaps, Nasdaq tech, Dow leaders, commodities, bonds) by ~1‑month performance, then buys the strongest names inside each, equally weighted.
NutHow it works
On each check, it looks back ~20 trading days (~1 month) and ranks five buckets: S&P 500 megacaps, Nasdaq tech/growth, Dow 30 leaders, commodity ETFs, and bond ETFs. It buys the top two buckets 50/50. Inside them it buys the recent top 3 stocks (stock buckets), top 2 commodity ETFs, or top 3 bond ETFs, all equal-weight. It shifts when leaders change or weights drift ~5%.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: annualized return 33.95% vs SPY 22.57%; Sharpe ~1.43 vs ~1.37; Calmar ~1.39. A momentum-rotation strategy across stocks, commodities, and bonds delivers stronger upside and better risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500, with higher drawdowns to capture extra gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
