About

A daily, rules‑driven “offense/defense” system. It chases uptrends with 3x stock ETFs and quickly rotates to hedges (volatility, cash, bonds, gold) when fear jumps or markets get overheated. Uses KMLM as a macro compass. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks two things: market heat (a 0–100 “overbought/oversold” gauge) and fear (VIX‑based ETFs). If fear spikes or stocks look overheated, it buys crash insurance (UVXY) or hides in T‑Bills/BTAL. If calm/washed‑out, it buys the dip in 3x stock funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL) or shorts fear (SVXY) with strict safeguards. KMLM’s trend guides risk‑on vs risk‑off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic offense/defense: chase uptrends with 3x ETFs, then hedge on fear with vol/cash/gold/Treasuries (KMLM). Out-of-sample: ~10.1% annualized, Sharpe ~0.46, Calmar ~0.52. A risk-managed complement to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
