About
A fast‑moving, risk‑managed 60/40. It boosts bonds when rates fall and hedges when they rise; it rides tech uptrends with leveraged ETFs, but quickly shifts to volatility hedges, cash‑like T‑bills, USD, gold, or staples when markets overheat or fall hard.
Think of it as a safety‑first 60/40 that changes fast. About 60% watches long‑term Treasuries: when bond prices trend up and stay calm, it boosts them with 3x Treasuries (TMF); when bonds fall (rates rise), it shifts to T‑bills, US dollar (UUP/USDU), gold (GLD), staples (XLP), or even 3x short bonds (TMV). The other ~40% rides tech uptrends (TQQQ/TECL/QLD), but if prices overheat or drop hard, it jumps to volatility hedges (UVXY), T‑bills (BIL), or a safety mix.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted performance and far better downside protection than the S&P 500: Sharpe 1.51 vs 1.40, Calmar ~2.01, max drawdown ~11% vs ~19%, with ~22% annualized upside.
