About

A rules‑based, daily‑rebalanced “New Age 60/40” that times bonds and stocks using trend, momentum, and volatility. It adds leveraged Treasuries or tech beta in calm uptrends and pivots to dollar, gold, staples, anti‑beta, or volatility hedges when stress appears.
NutHow it works
A dynamic “60/40” that times bonds and stocks. It tracks long‑term Treasury trends (TLT): if rates fall, it buys Treasuries (sometimes 3x via TMF); if rates rise, it shifts to cash‑like Treasuries (SHY/SHV), US dollar (UUP/USDU), gold (GLD), staples (XLP), or anti‑beta (BTAL). Stocks are added when the market is calm/up (TQQQ/QLD/SPXL/TECL); during selloffs it hedges or flips to volatility (UVXY) or inverse QQQ (SQQQ). Rules use trend (moving averages), “hot/cold” gauges (RSI), and volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic 60/40 strategy with strong out-of-sample results: 22.69% annualized return vs S&P 21.61%, lower drawdown (~17.6% vs ~18.8%), beta ~0.89 (less market exposure), Calmar ~1.29—better risk-adjusted upside and downside protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
