About

A rule‑based, daily‑rebalanced 60/40. It buys long Treasuries and leveraged tech in favorable trends, and rotates to T‑bills, dollar, gold, staples, market‑neutral and VIX hedges when stress rises. Designed to keep gains and tamp down big losses.
NutHow it works
Targets ~60% bonds/40% stocks but adapts daily. Bonds: If long‑term Treasuries trend up and aren’t overheated (RSI = 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge), it holds long/leveraged Treasuries. If falling/too hot, it shifts to short‑term T‑bills, the U.S. dollar, gold, staples, or even short‑bond funds. Stocks: In calm uptrends it owns leveraged Nasdaq/S&P. In selloffs or extreme heat it moves to safety or VIX‑linked hedges. Goal: capture uptrends, cut drawdowns. Uses leveraged/vol funds—high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~24% annualized return vs ~22% (SPY), Sharpe ~1.38 vs 1.35, Calmar ~1.36, and max drawdown ~17.6% vs ~18.8%. Higher risk-adjusted growth with lower market beta.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
