About

Daily, tech‑tilted rotation: 25% defensive anti‑beta, 5% short Treasuries; the other 70% shifts among QQQ, semis (SOXX), tech (XLK), gold (GLD) or volatility (VIXY) using simple overbought/oversold (RSI) and trend signals.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. Always keep 25% in BTAL (defensive: long low‑risk, short high‑risk stocks) and 5% in SHY (short‑term Treasuries). The other 70% rotates: if semis are very sold off (RSI of leveraged SOXL <30; RSI gauges stretched moves), buy SOXX. Else if Nasdaq trends up (price > 200‑day avg), hold QQQ unless overheated (RSI of leveraged TQQQ or UPRO >79) → VIXY. If not trending up, buy XLK on a short‑term bounce; otherwise GLD.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk control and solid risk-adjusted gains vs SPY: max drawdown 3.57% vs 5.07%, Calmar 2.04, Sharpe 1.03, and 7.28% annualized over 157 days. Safer tech/semis exposure with defensive overlay.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
