About

A tech‑tilted, rules-based strategy that buys 3x tech on trends or deep dips, hedges or moves to cash during spikes, and falls back to SPHD (high‑dividend, low‑vol stocks) when bond and price signals flash caution.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based, tech‑tilted plan with three sleeves: 1) If fear spikes, run a fast “pop” playbook: when tech looks too hot, short tech + buy VIX; when washed‑out, buy 3x tech; otherwise sit in T‑Bills. 2) In calmer times, buy 3x S&P/Dow/tech when trend is up and bonds aren’t warning; else hold SPHD (high‑dividend, low‑vol stocks). 3) A dip‑buying sleeve in 3x tech after sharp drops. Signals use simple gauges: RSI (hot/cold), moving averages (trend), drawdowns (recent worst fall).
CheckmarkValue prop
Ahead of the S&P: out-of-sample ~51% annualized return vs ~22%; Calmar ~1.72 signals strong risk-adjusted gains. Expect higher drawdowns (~30% vs ~19%), but the strategy’s dynamic tech tilt with hedges targets bigger upside while aiming to protect downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
