About

Rules-based, tech-tilted plan: buy 3× funds after selloffs, hedge after melt-ups, and fall back to SCHD or T-Bills when fear or bond signals say play defense. Uses simple hot/cold momentum gauges (RSI).
NutHow it works
1) If a VIX-linked fund shows fear is high, ~40% goes to a quick 3-2-1 module that mostly holds T-Bills (BIL) and only buys or hedges when the Nasdaq looks very hot/cold (hot/cold = a short-term momentum score, RSI). 2) Otherwise two Double Pop engines: after sharp drops buy 3× funds (SPXL/TQQQ/TECL); after melt-ups hold a crash hedge (UVXY). Between extremes pick growth (TECL) or safety (SCHD) using bond strength and whether Tech leads defensives. Trades when signals flip.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical, tech-driven strategy shows superior risk-adjusted upside (oos return ~52.6% vs SPY ~23.2%), strong Calmar (~1.64) and disciplined hedges (BIL/SCHD/UVXY), aiming for bigger gains with managed drawdowns; though drawdowns can be larger in crises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
