About

A tech-tilted, dip-buying playbook with crash defenses. It buys leveraged tech/S&P/Dow after selloffs, parks in SCHD or T-Bills when signals are weak, and uses inverse/VIX funds when fear spikes. High risk, very active.
NutHow it works
It watches fear, trend, and short-term swings. RSI is a 0-100 speedometer: high = overheated, low = washed out. If fear (VIXM) spikes, it either hedges with TECS/UVIX or waits in T-Bills (BIL). If tech (XLK, QQQ/TQQQ) is leading and a dip shows up, it buys 3x bull funds (TECL, SPXL, UDOW) to catch rebounds. If bonds look stronger or drops deepen, it falls back to SCHD.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~51.7% annualized return vs ~21.8% for S&P; Calmar ~1.72, Sharpe ~1.29. Higher drawdown (~30% vs ~19%), but tech-led dip buying with hedges and ballast (SCHD/BIL) aims for bigger upside with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
