About

A dynamic, multi-portfolio ETF system that uses momentum signals (RSI) and volatility hedges to switch between leveraged growth bets and cash/dividend ballast, with SCHD serving as a core stabilizer.
NutHow it works
This strategy combines several small portfolios that trade using simple signals. It watches popular ETFs (like QQQ for tech and SPY for broad market) and a volatility hedge set (like UVIX and TECS) plus a cash-like option (BIL). If momentum feels strong (indicated by RSI being high for the tech or market basket), it tilts toward hedges and leveraged bets to try for bigger moves. If momentum looks weak, it shifts toward safer bets or cash and dividends (SCHD) to protect capital. The decisions are nested: different “pops” kick in under different RSI readings and over different time frames, and there’s a separate bond-related check to steer some weight into bonds when risk is high. The net effect is a dynamic, regime-aware mix that can go from aggressive leverage to defensive hedges or cash, all while favoring the SCHD dividend ballast as a stabilizer.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
