About

Times the semiconductor sector using an RSI “temperature” check, switching between 3x bull (SOXL) and 3x bear (SOXS). If chips are neutral, it either hedges overheated markets (VIXM), buys strong 3x bulls in selloffs, or holds the 3 strongest large‑cap stocks.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 gauge of recent price moves (high=hot, low=cold). Main check: chipmakers ETF (SOXX). If very hot, it shorts chips via SOXS (3x inverse). If short‑term cold, it usually buys SOXL (3x bull) unless that looks too hot, then SOXS. If chips are neutral: if the S&P 500 is very hot, hedge with VIXM; if very cold, buy the best 2 of TECL/TNA/SPXL (3x bulls on tech/small caps/S&P); otherwise hold the 3 strongest big stocks (e.g., AAPL, MSFT, NVDA).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~66% annualized return vs SPY ~21%; Calmar ~1.52 (strong risk-adjusted). RSI-driven semiconductor timing targets substantial upside, with hedges and mega-cap rotation to manage risk. Expect higher drawdowns (~43%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
