About

Own the 10 NASDAQ leaders when each is in an uptrend (50-day avg > 200-day). If a stock weakens, its slice moves to Treasuries (TLT), gold (GLD), and real estate (VNQ). Equal-weighted, checked and rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Split the portfolio into 10 equal slices: AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, NVDA, TSLA, META, NFLX, ADBE, INTC. For each stock, if its 50-day average price is above its 200-day average, we hold it. If not, that slice shifts to 33% TLT (long U.S. Treasuries), 33% GLD (gold), 34% VNQ (U.S. real estate). Checked and rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Own 10 NASDAQ leaders in uptrends; weak slices shift to a diversified TLT/GLD/VNQ mix with daily rebalancing. Out-of-sample: 10.3% annualized return, Sharpe 0.59, Calmar 0.53. Diversified, risk-controlled exposure designed to complement SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
