About

A cautious, tactical Nasdaq plan. It reads a 10‑day “heat gauge” on QQQ to dial risk: oversold → 50% cash/50% TQQQ; overheated → 75% cash/25% UVXY; otherwise → 75% cash/25% QQQ. Aims to catch rebounds and sidestep hot markets.
NutHow it works
It treats QQQ (a Nasdaq‑100 fund) as a market thermometer. It looks at a 10‑day RSI—a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent price moves (low=cold/washed‑out, high=hot/stretched). If RSI<32: hold 50% cash + 50% TQQQ (3× QQQ) for rebound odds. If RSI>81: hold 75% cash + 25% UVXY (benefits when fear/volatility jumps). Otherwise: 75% cash + 25% QQQ. Checked daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 35.8% annualized return vs ~19.8% for SPY, Calmar ~1.19, Sharpe ~0.95. Uses RSI-based Nasdaq-100 timing with cash buffers to chase rebounds and curb risk—offering higher long-run gains than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
