About

Own the 5 hottest recent winners from the Nasdaq‑100 (by 3‑month performance) with a built‑in 20% short-QQQ hedge. If simple “too‑hot” gauges trip, it temporarily flips into a volatility fund (UVXY) seeking protection from a spike in fear.
NutHow it works
- First, it checks if the market looks “too hot” using simple 0–100 heat gauges on two indexes (equal‑weight Nasdaq‑100 and Financials). If either reads very hot, it moves into UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when fear spikes. - Otherwise, it puts 80% into the 5 best performers over the past 3 months from a Nasdaq‑100 list, and 20% into PSQ, an ETF that moves opposite the Nasdaq, as a built‑in hedge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P: Sharpe 4.23 vs 1.96, annualized ~96% vs ~23%, drawdown ~4.39% vs ~5.07%, Calmar ~21.86, beta ~0.69 — more upside with less risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
