About

Buys the 5 hottest Nasdaq‑100 stocks (80%) and keeps a 20% short Nasdaq hedge. If the market looks extremely overheated by fast‑moving gauges (QQQE or FAS), it flips entirely into a volatility fund (UVXY). High potential, very high risk.
NutHow it works
1) Check if the Nasdaq‑100 (measured equally via QQQE) looks “overheated” using a quick up/down meter (RSI). If very high, go 100% into a volatility spike fund (UVXY). 2) If not, check a fast risk‑on gauge (FAS). If very hot, also go 100% UVXY. 3) Otherwise, buy the 5 best‑performing Nasdaq‑100 stocks (80%) and keep a 20% short Nasdaq hedge (PSQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~4.74 vs ~1.91 for the S&P, annualized return ~116% vs ~23%, and drawdown ~4.4% vs ~5.1%. Nasdaq momentum with a disciplined volatility hedge offers far stronger risk-adjusted gains and resilience.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
