About

A daily “buy the dip” switch: if QQQ fell over the past 10 days, jump into NAIL (3× homebuilders) to bet on a rebound; otherwise sit in BIL (T‑bills). High risk when in NAIL; conservative when in BIL.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at QQQ (a tech‑heavy U.S. stock fund). If QQQ is down over the last 10 trading days, it buys NAIL—a very high‑risk fund aiming for 3× the daily move of U.S. homebuilder stocks. If QQQ is flat or up, it parks in BIL, a short‑term U.S. Treasury bill fund. It can switch daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~19.05% annualized return vs SPY ~18.93%, with a disciplined dip-buy/parking rule that adds diversification beyond a core S&P position. Note: higher OOS drawdowns (~38.6%) mean suitability for risk-tolerant, upside-seeking investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
