About

Tactical, rules-based stock strategy: ride the top 2 recent winners in uptrends, park in cash-like ETFs in downtrends, and sometimes make short, contrarian bets (via SOXS/SPXU) when tech gets too hot or fear spikes. Aggressive and volatile by design.
NutHow it works
1) Check the S&P 500 trend. If healthy, proceed; if not, sit in cash-like funds (SHY/JPST/BIL). 2) Use TQQQ (a triple-speed Nasdaq fund) as a “heat” gauge. If it’s extremely hot or just crashed then bounced, take a quick bet against semiconductors (SOXS). If it crashed without a big bounce, buy NVDA. 3) If market “fear” (VIXM) is overheated, bet against the S&P 500 (SPXU). 4) Otherwise, own the 2 best 1‑month performers (from AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, AMZN, etc.) but only if they’re in an uptrend and not too stretched; if not, hold a defensive mix (SCHD/JPST/BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: a fast, rules-based strategy that rides leaders, uses tactical hedges, and moves to cash on risk. Aiming for higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P, with built‑in trend filters to limit big drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
