About

Pick the 2 best performers over the last month from a mostly big‑tech list. Buy them only when their short‑term trend is up and momentum isn’t extreme; otherwise use a safety mix. If the overall market is weak, stay in short‑term Treasuries/cash‑like funds.
NutHow it works
1) Market check: take risk only if SPY’s 50‑day average > 200‑day; otherwise split equally into SHY (1–3y Treasuries), JPST (ultra‑short bonds) and BIL (T‑bills). 2) Rank 20‑day returns of AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, AMD, AVGO, AMZN, GOOGL, META, TSLA, SPY, COST, PEP, MSTR, COIN, PLTR, TQQQ; pick top 2 (50/50). 3) For each, buy only if its 6‑day avg > 50‑day and its RSI (0–100 gauge of recent up vs down days) is 38–90; else hold 30% SCHD (dividend stocks), 40% JPST, 30% BIL. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~35% annualized return vs SPY ~20%, Calmar ~2.69, and a risk-on/off regime that protects in weak markets; note higher drawdowns in tech rallies (up to ~13%), but with stronger long-run upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
