About

Mostly gold (GLD) with a 5% sleeve that flips daily between 2x long/short MicroStrategy (MSTU/MSTZ) or 2x gold (UGL) using RSI overbought/oversold cues—aiming to gently boost a gold core with a tiny, high‑volatility overlay.
NutHow it works
95% goes to GLD (gold). 5% is a daily booster guided by MicroStrategy (MSTR) strength, read via its 2x ETFs: MSTU (2x long MSTR) and MSTZ (2x inverse). RSI is a 0–100 momentum gauge: >80 very hot, <30 washed out. Rules: if RSI14>80 use MSTZ; else if RSI14<30 use MSTU; else if RSI14>60 use MSTU; else if RSI10<40 use MSTU; otherwise hold UGL (2x gold). It uses MSTU’s RSI because that’s the traded vehicle. Note: 2x funds swing a lot; MSTR is bitcoin‑sensitive. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted returns: Sharpe ~2.89 vs 2.38, Calmar ~6.68, low beta ~0.11, and ~0.57% oos alpha, with a gold core and modest levered overlay - higher upside, modest market risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
