About

Mostly gold (GLD) with a tiny, high-octane sleeve that flips between 2x MicroStrategy long/inverse based on a simple “hot/cold” gauge (RSI). When no signal, it holds 2x gold (UGL). Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
- Core (most of the money): GLD, a fund that tracks gold. - Small “booster” sleeve (about 5%): switches daily using a hot/cold gauge (RSI, a 0–100 speedometer of recent price moves) on MSTU (2x MicroStrategy). If very hot (>80), it flips to MSTZ (2x inverse). If cold (<30) or turning up, it holds MSTU. If no clear signal, it parks in UGL (2x gold).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy posts higher annualized returns (~41% vs ~32% for SPY) with a strong Calmar profile, using gold as the core and a small tactical sleeve for durable upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
