About
An aggressive, tech-focused trading strategy that mostly bets on leveraged Nasdaq gains, but can temporarily move to cash, short the Nasdaq, or hide in short-term bonds when conditions weaken.
This strategy makes all its decisions by watching TQQQ, a very aggressive fund that tries to deliver 3x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100 (big tech-heavy stocks).
It splits money into 4 parts and asks the same question using 4 trend gauges: is TQQQ above its 50-, 100-, 200-, or 400-day average price?
If yes, that slice usually holds TQQQ, unless TQQQ has gotten extremely overheated recently—then it parks that slice in BIL, a cash-like Treasury bill fund.
If no, that slice may still buy TQQQ after a sharp selloff. Otherwise, if short-term weakness continues, it switches to either SQQQ (which rises when the Nasdaq falls) or BSV (short-term bonds), depending on which looks stronger.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher upside with disciplined risk: ~57% annualized return vs ~16% S&P, Sharpe ~1.07, Calmar ~1.41, plus cash/hedge defenses during overheated tech runs. Bigger potential, managed risk.
