About
A monthly, rules-based toggle between Nvidia and Eli Lilly using SPY’s recent volatility: 50/50 in very calm or very rough markets; all Eli Lilly when it’s middling. Concentrated exposure to tech (AI chips) and healthcare (obesity/diabetes).
It holds only two stocks: Nvidia (NVDA, semiconductors/AI chips) and Eli Lilly (LLY, pharmaceuticals/obesity & diabetes drugs). Each month it checks how “bumpy” the S&P 500 (SPY) was over ~1 month.
- If bumps are tiny (<1%) or very big (>=2%): hold 50% NVDA / 50% LLY.
- If bumps are in-between (1–2%): hold 100% LLY.
Always fully invested; sectors: tech + healthcare.
Out-of-sample return ~29.4% vs SPY ~18.9% with a volatility-driven NVDA/LLY rotation. Simple, fully invested rules capture AI/healthcare growth; Calmar ~1.00 indicates balanced risk. Expect higher drawdowns (~29%).
