About

Daily tactical strategy that fades blow‑offs, buys dips, and parks in cash when risk is high. It rotates among leveraged tech bulls, volatility hedges, index shorts, and long bonds using simple “heat” and bond signals.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if markets are “too hot,” “normal,” or “falling fast” using simple gauges of recent ups/downs (a heat gauge from 0–100) and recent drops. • Too hot or big 1‑day spikes: add protection (fear/volatility fund UVXY, rate hedge PFIX, or equity shorts). • Too cold or sharp selloff: buy rebounds in fast tech funds (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL), often with short‑vol (SVXY). • If both stocks and bonds look weak: hold cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL). Bond trends tilt between stocks, long bonds (TMF), or shorts.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy seeks far higher upside and strong risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500: ~122% vs ~32% annualized, Calmar ~8.7, Sharpe ~2.23. Note higher drawdowns, mitigated by dynamic hedging.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
