About

A simple momentum plan: each month buy the two names from a preset list with the strongest last‑month returns, 50/50. The list spans big tech, banks, and energy (incl. uranium and a leveraged oil fund). Very concentrated; performance can be volatile.
NutHow it works
Once a month, look at how each stock/fund on the list did over roughly the last month. Pick the two with the biggest gains. Put 50% of your money in each. Next month, repeat and swap to the new top two if they change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: annualized return 34.08% vs S&P 21.48%; momentum with monthly rebalancing and two picks. Higher drawdowns (~39% vs ~19%), but stronger upside in trending regimes and solid risk-adjusted tilt (Calmar ≈0.88).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
