A global stock portfolio that stays aggressive when the market trend looks healthy, but shifts mostly into U.S. Treasuries when the S&P 500 weakens.
NutHow it works
This strategy checks one simple signal each day: is the U.S. stock market looking healthy or weak? It uses SPY (a stand-in for the S&P 500) and compares today’s price to its average price over the last 50 trading days. If SPY is above that average, the portfolio goes mostly into stocks worldwide, with extra emphasis on smaller, cheaper companies. If SPY falls below that average, it cuts stock exposure sharply and moves most of the money into U.S. Treasury bonds.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
