About

A daily “buy the dip” switch. If tech is deeply oversold, jump into the hardest‑hit leveraged tech fund; otherwise, rotate into the most beaten‑down metals/steel fund. Always 100% in one ETF—highly volatile and concentrated.
NutHow it works
Each day, check a “heat meter” (RSI) on TQQQ, a triple‑speed Nasdaq fund. If that meter is under 25 (tech just fell hard), buy the weakest 10‑day name among TQQQ/TECL/SOXL (all triple‑speed tech/semis). Otherwise, buy the weakest 10‑day metal/steel fund from CPER (copper), SLV (silver), PALL (palladium), PPLT (platinum), SLX (steel stocks), or UGL (2x gold). Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers far stronger risk-adjusted results vs the S&P: Sharpe ~8.27 vs ~-0.63, Calmar ~266, and outsized annualized gains with controlled drawdowns through a disciplined contrarian, mean-reversion approach.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
