About

A daily contrarian switch. If QQQ/SPY look oversold, buy the most beaten‑down 3x tech/market ETF. If they look overheated, buy UVXY to play a volatility spike. Otherwise, buy the weakest recent performer among metals/steel ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the market’s short‑term “temperature” using a 10‑day RSI on QQQ and SPY. RSI estimates if prices fell a lot (oversold) or ran too fast (overbought). If oversold, it buys the most beaten‑down 3x tech/market ETF. If overbought, it buys UVXY (bets on a volatility jump). Otherwise, it buys the weakest metal/steel ETF. 100% goes into that single pick; it rechecks daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, our daily contrarian rotation aims for big upside: ~158% annualized return with Sharpe ~1.55 and Calmar ~4.83. Higher upside vs SPY with disciplined regime switches—though drawdowns can be larger in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
