About

A tactical, trend-following bet on memory, storage and semiconductors. Own them only in uptrends; otherwise sit in T‑bills. If the market overheats, shift to 70% T‑bills/30% UVXY; if it breaks down, go 100% T‑bills. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily steps: 1) If SPY (S&P 500) is below its 200‑day average, hold only BIL (T‑bills). 2) If SPY’s 10‑day RSI >79 (a short‑term “heat” gauge), hold 70% BIL and 30% UVXY (a volatility hedge). 3) Otherwise, split equally across MU (memory chips), STX & WDC (storage), LRCX (chip equipment), SOXX & SOXL (semi ETFs). Each is held only while above its own 100‑day average (~5‑month trend); if not, that slice sits in BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show elite risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~6.43 vs SPY ~0.84) and strong upside in semis, aided by cash/BIL hedges and daily rebalancing. A compelling, risk-aware outperformer versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
