About

Buys a 3× tech fund (TECL) after sharp short‑term dips in the Nasdaq (QQQ). If markets are hot, shifts to long Treasuries (TLT); otherwise parks in T‑bills (SHV). A 200‑day SPY filter sets looser/tighter dip thresholds. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily: 1) Check if SPY (S&P 500 fund) is above its 200‑day avg → uptrend. 2) Read QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) 10‑day RSI, a 0–100 “heat gauge” (low=selloff, high=stretched). - Uptrend: RSI<42 → buy TECL (3× tech). RSI>80 → hold TLT (20+yr Treasuries). Else SHV (T‑bills). - Not uptrend: need RSI<31 to buy TECL; else SHV. Uses QQQ to gauge tech, TECL to ride rebounds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-driven, daily-rebalanced sleeve diversifying around a core S&P 500 by cycling TECL, TLT, and SHV—capturing Nasdaq dips with bond/cash ballast. Use as diversification, not core, given outsized OOS drawdowns vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
