About

A tactical, Nasdaq‑centric approach: ride QQQ (often via TQQQ) when markets are calm and trending; when indexes look overheated or fall fast, rotate into volatility ETFs (VIXY/UVXY), low‑vol/market‑neutral funds, and T‑Bills to front‑run potential pullbacks.
NutHow it works
Core holding is big tech (QQQ) or its 3x version (TQQQ). It uses a short‑term “hot/cold” meter (RSI). When indexes get very hot or drop fast, it shifts into fear funds that usually jump when markets wobble (VIXY/UVXY), plus steady ballast (SPLV low‑vol stocks, BTAL market‑neutral) and cash (BIL T‑Bills). Bond strength (IEF) and volatility momentum fine‑tune those choices.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this Nasdaq-focused strategy posts ~53% annualized return vs 16.6% for the S&P, with Sharpe ~1.43 and Calmar ~4.78. It harvests Nasdaq gains while hedging risk with volatility plays and ballast, for stronger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
