About

A one-position, rules-based swing strategy. When markets look overheated, it buys UVXY (a fear-spike play). When tech looks washed out, it buys the weakest 3× stock ETF for a bounce. Otherwise it rides calm trends with SVXY/SPXL or hides in BTAL/SH.
NutHow it works
Each day it runs three gates: 1) “Too hot?” If short‑term heat in major indexes/sectors is extreme, it buys UVXY (a fund that jumps when fear spikes). 2) “Too cold?” If tech is washed out, it buys the most beaten‑down 3× stock fund for a rebound. 3) Otherwise it reads volatility: calm+uptrend → SVXY (benefits when fear falls) or SPXL (3× S&P 500); choppy but easing → SVXY; choppy and rising → BTAL/SH (defensive/short).
CheckmarkValue prop
Crisis-hedge strategy using UVXY/SVXY and levered ETFs to diversify and exploit regime shifts, aiming to dampen SPY drawdowns and offer non-correlated volatility upside. Note: out-of-sample shows negative returns and larger drawdowns vs SPY—tactical sleeve, not core.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
