About

Daily, tech‑heavy, swing strategy that toggles between leveraged Nasdaq/semis, inverse hedges, and T‑Bills using hot/cold readings (RSI), volatility spikes, and trend checks. Buys big tech on dips; goes defensive during panics.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: 1) Are bonds acting stronger than stocks? 2) Is volatility spiking? If panic: sit in T‑Bills (BIL) or a vol hedge (VIXY), only buy sharp tech dips. If calm: ride big‑tech/semis with 3x ETFs—TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100), TECL (tech), SOXL (semis)—but flip to SOXS/PSQ (short side) when overheated. It uses “heat” gauges (RSI), trend lines (200‑day average), and big 1‑/6‑day moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~29.8% annualized return vs ~21.3% for the S&P; driven by tactical tech/semis with volatility hedges. Higher upside, but significantly larger drawdowns—appropriate for risk-tolerant, long-horizon investors seeking aggressive growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
