About
A daily, rules-based swing trader for semiconductors: uses volatility as a kill switch, bond-vs-tech momentum to set aggressiveness, and SMH’s RSI to pick 3x bull (SOXL), 3x bear (SOXS), or cash (BIL). High risk due to leverage.
Daily rules: 1) If VIXM (volatility ETF) is “hot” by a 14‑day RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge of recent moves) >70, sit in BIL (T‑bills).
2) Else compare 15‑day RSI of BND (bonds) vs QQQ (Nasdaq). If bonds hotter: long SOXL if SMH’s 10‑day RSI<65, short SOXS if >75, else BIL. If stocks hotter: short SOXS if >80, long SOXL if <25, else BIL.
A tactical, rules-based semiconductor timing sleeve with a volatility kill-switch. It aims to diversify the S&P 500, but outsized risk and negative out-of-sample results mean it should be a small, cautious allocation for sophisticated investors.
