About
A very aggressive market-timing strategy that mostly bets hard on U.S. stocks and tech when trends look good, but can quickly switch to bonds, bearish funds, or volatility trades when warning signs appear.
This strategy splits money into 4 parts and constantly asks: is the market healthy, overheated, falling, or panicking? It mainly uses SPY (big U.S. stocks) and QQQ (big tech stocks) as its market gauges.
When trends look strong, it buys aggressive funds that magnify stock gains, especially U.S. stocks and tech. When markets look too hot or start breaking down, it shifts into safer short-term bonds, funds that rise when stocks fall, or panic-linked volatility funds.
This strategy targets faster growth than the S&P 500. In out-of-sample tests it delivered ~27.3% annualized return vs ~15.9% for SPY, with a Calmar ~0.76. Higher upside comes with bigger drawdowns, offset by adaptive hedges and trend signals.
