About

Daily, it picks the calmer choices between cash‑like T‑Bills and 3x Nasdaq funds using recent “bumpiness” and worst drop, then splits between the two picks. Most of the time it ends up in T‑Bills.
NutHow it works
Every day it runs two simple “safety” checks: (1) Between TQQQ (a 3x tech‑heavy Nasdaq fund) and BIL (cash‑like T‑Bills), it keeps whichever was calmer over the last 5 days. (2) Between SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) and BIL, it keeps the one with the smaller worst 5‑day drop. It then splits money equally between the two picks. In practice, BIL’s stability means it’s usually all BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows extraordinary risk-adjusted performance and tight drawdown control: Sharpe ~20.6 vs S&P ~0.8; max drawdown ~1% vs ~19%; a defensive, cash-like bias with Nasdaq upside when markets are calm.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
