About

A daily, rules-based strategy: ride tech-led rallies with 3x funds, hedge overheated markets with volatility, and shift to inverse/defensive bond, dollar and commodity plays in stress. A slower sleeve blends SPY/TLT/UUP/DBC to help limit big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads simple gauges: - Hot/cold of stocks (RSI: a 0–100 “speedometer” of how fast prices rose/fell) - Trend lines (moving averages) - Signals from bonds (TLT/IEF/SHY), the US dollar (UUP) and commodities (DBC) If stocks look overheated, it buys market volatility (UVXY) as a hedge. If they look washed out and bonds confirm, it buys the bounce with tech/semiconductor 3x funds (TQQQ, SOXL, etc). In downtrends or inflation/rising‑rate stress it uses inverse funds, dollar, oil/gold, or cash‑like T‑bills. A second, slower sleeve mixes SPY, long Treasuries, the dollar and commodities by recent strength to steady returns. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~55% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P, and a Calmar ~1.12—indicating strong risk-adjusted upside. A rules-based, daily-rebalanced, multi-sleeve strategy hedges risk while pursuing higher growth than the index.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
