About

Daily, high‑octane, rules‑driven swing strategy for tech/semis. It uses market trend, interest rates, dollar and “hot/cold” (RSI) readings to flip between 3× bull ETFs, volatility hedges, inverse ETFs, or T‑bills. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
This switches daily among 3× tech funds (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL) and their shorts. It asks: 1) Stocks trending up or down (long‑term averages on SPY/QQQ)? 2) Are rates up or down (by BIL vs IEF/TLT)? 3) Is tech “hot” or “cold” (RSI: a 0–100 gauge; >70 = overbought, <30 = oversold)? 4) Dollar/commodities tone (UUP, DBC). Risk‑on: buy the weakest 3× tech/semis to bounce. Risk‑off or after big spikes: hedge with UVXY or use 3× inverse ETFs (SQQQ, SOXS), or hold T‑bills. Very risky; swings are large.
CheckmarkValue prop
Offers outsized upside: ~37.5% annualized (out-of-sample) vs ~19.8% for the S&P, Calmar ~0.82. Expect higher volatility and ~46% max drawdown, but disciplined tech/semis exposure targets meaningful alpha when regimes favor risk-on.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
