This strategy is a very aggressive market-timing system. It first checks whether the market—especially tech and semiconductor stocks—is acting strong, weak, overheated, or panicky. If stocks look washed out, it often buys fast-moving tech/semiconductor funds or the single hottest stock from a list of volatile names. If stocks look too euphoric, it may bet on a pullback using volatility funds or bearish funds. It also watches Treasury bonds to judge whether interest rates are rising or falling, then shifts between bullish, defensive, or outright bearish positions.

Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~32% annualized returns vs ~13% for the S&P, with positive alpha and dynamic regime-timing. Higher upside comes with larger drawdowns—suitable for investors with high risk tolerance.
