About

A tactical swing strategy that times Bitcoin (BITO/BITI/MSTR) and rotates among leveraged tech/broad‑market ETFs (TQQQ/UPRO), inverse/volatility hedges (SQQQ/SPXU/UVXY), or bonds (BSV). It buys dips, fades heat, and shifts in fast selloffs. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Crypto module: checks BITO (Bitcoin ETF). If price is weak vs its ~3‑mo average, it mostly fades strength—when Bitcoin looks hot (RSI=a 0–100 “heat” score) it buys BITI (up when Bitcoin falls); after sharp pops it may use MSTR (Bitcoin‑heavy stock); otherwise it may short again or pass to stocks. Stocks module: if Nasdaq is very hot (TQQQ RSI>80) hold UVXY (volatility); if very cold (RSI<30) buy TQQQ (3x tech). Else, if the S&P just fell hard (10‑day drawdown >~6%), pick SQQQ/SPXU (3x short) or BSV (short bonds); in calmer uptrends buy dips in TQQQ/UPRO (3x S&P) or hold BSV. Moving avg=recent average; “std dev”=typical wiggle.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~49.6% annualized return vs 21.7% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.02. Seeks big upside in crypto/tech cycles with hedges, but expect larger drawdowns (~49%). Higher risk, higher potential rewards.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
