About

Aggressive, timing‑heavy crypto strategy. It shorts Bitcoin after strong runs, otherwise rotates into the strongest crypto proxies (BITO, MSTR, COIN). When signals are weak, it hedges by going long the U.S. dollar or into T‑bills/commodities/3x semis.
NutHow it works
It’s a tactical crypto switcher with a hedge. It watches a Bitcoin ETF (BITO): - If price is below its 62‑day average (downtrend), it often bets against Bitcoin via BITI after strong runs (RSI>60; RSI is a 0–100 “speed of gains” gauge). If not, it may buy Bitcoin‑sensitive stocks (MSTR, COIN) when short‑term momentum favors them. - When crypto signals are weak, it hedges: if the U.S. dollar is trending up (short‑ vs long‑term EMA on UUP), it buys USDU; else it splits between two of BIL (T‑bills, low risk), SOXL (3x semis, very risky), and PDBC (commodities), choosing the two with the most recent volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~28.5% vs ~20.3% for the S&P. A rules-based crypto rotation with built-in hedges aims for stronger upside and diversification, though it carries higher drawdown risk and volatility. Best for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
