About

A high‑risk, rules‑based mix of crypto and tech. It fades overheated Bitcoin (often short via BITI), sometimes buys MSTR/COIN, and otherwise swings a leveraged Nasdaq sleeve—buying 2x Nasdaq‑100 (QLD), hedging with UVXY, or using inverse ETFs/bonds.
NutHow it works
1) Check Bitcoin’s trend (short vs long average price). In weak trends it trades crypto: short Bitcoin (BITI) when it looks “too hot” (RSI = 0–100 heat gauge), or switch to MSTR (Bitcoin‑heavy company) or COIN (Coinbase) after cool‑offs or if they’ve led over 1–3 weeks. 2) If signals aren’t clear, shift ~40% to a Nasdaq sleeve that uses TQQQ’s heat: buy 2x Nasdaq‑100 (QLD) when very cold, buy a volatility pop fund (UVXY) when very hot, else rotate among inverse 2x ETFs or short‑term bonds. Key tickers: BITO/BITI (Bitcoin long/short), MSTR/COIN (Bitcoin‑sensitive stocks), QLD/QID/SSO/SDS (2x index ETFs), UVXY (volatility), BSV (short‑term bonds).
CheckmarkValue prop
High-upside, rules-based crypto/tech mix with tactical leverage. Out-of-sample return ~36.7% annualized vs S&P ~20.3%, aided by volatility hedges. Higher drawdowns (~43% vs ~19%) reflect risk tolerance and potential for outsized gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
