About

A tactical switch between a crypto engine and a leveraged Nasdaq engine. It often shorts Bitcoin when it looks overheated; otherwise it rotates among crypto proxies. If crypto isn’t the setup, it times 2x Nasdaq, sometimes hedging with volatility or going defensive.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Check Bitcoin’s trend. If Bitcoin’s ETF (BITO) is below its ~3‑month average, run the crypto play; otherwise run the Nasdaq play. Crypto play: Mostly bet against Bitcoin when it looks “too hot.” If not, rotate among Bitcoin (BITO), MicroStrategy (MSTR), or Coinbase (COIN) based on recent strength. Nasdaq play: Use a heat gauge on a 3x Nasdaq fund (signal only) to either buy 2x Nasdaq (QLD), bet on a volatility spike (UVXY), or, if markets are stressed, go inverse or to short‑term bonds (BSV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows 28.7% annualized return vs S&P 20.5%, driven by crypto/Nasdaq timing that aims for bigger upside in cycles. Expect higher drawdowns (43% vs ~19%) and a lower Sharpe, so best for growth-seeking, risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
