Each week, it holds a basket of U.S. defense/aerospace companies—drone makers, big weapons contractors, defense software, rocket launch, aircraft maintenance, training simulators, and defense electronics. It gives larger weights to stocks that were calmer over the past 5 trading days and smaller weights to the jumpier ones.
