About

A daily, rules‑driven switcher: short stocks when certain sectors run too hot, hide in T‑bills when Treasuries are frothy, buy Nasdaq on deep dips or when trends favor it; otherwise hold gold and short emerging markets.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks a hot/cold gauge (RSI). If tech/consumer/dividend funds (XLK, XLY, FDL, DWX) look too hot, it shorts the S&P 500 (SH). If Treasuries (SPTI) are hot, it parks in T‑bills (BIL). If Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ) is very cold, it buys 2× Nasdaq (QLD). Otherwise, if corporate bonds (LQD) beat healthcare (XLV), it buys Nasdaq (QLD if S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 30‑day avg; else QQQ). If not, it holds gold (GLD) and shorts EM (EUM). Uses leveraged/inverse ETFs; expect big swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample stats dwarf the S&P: Sharpe 3.53 vs 1.81, annualized return ~43% vs ~21%, Calmar ~12.8. A daily tactical switcher uses Nasdaq bets plus hedges (bonds, gold, EM shorts) for higher, smoother risk-adjusted gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
